Baseline Dashboard

This dashboard visualises the findings of the Baseline Assessment of Resource Governance and Development Impacts (the Baseline). The Baseline was conducted in 2024, involving data collection on resource governance in New Ireland, Morobe, Gulf and Western Province.

Partners

The Baseline was funded by the Australian Government through the Australia-PNG Economic Partnership (APEP), and carried out as a partnership between Abt Global, Square Circle Global Development and Tanorama Limited.

APEP

APEP is a multi-sectoral partnership between the governments of Australia and PNG to help PNG create a resilient and diversified economy. Managed by Abt Global, APEP is guided by the bilateral priorities outlined in the 2020 PNG Australia Comprehensive Strategic and Economic Partnership (CSEP). The partnership is being carried out through five strategic pillars, including Pillar 4b: Sustainable Governance of Natural Resource Wealth.

Sustainable Governance of Natural Resource Wealth Pillar

APEP’s Sustainable Governance of Natural Resource Wealth Pillar supports multistakeholder partnerships to strengthen resource governance, sustainable and inclusive development outcomes, and the investment climate in PNG’s resource sector.
